Welcome to Wikia Writers!
While this community is all about expressing yourself there are a few rules that must be followed in order to ensure everyone enjoy's their time here.
Please check back often as things will regularly change.
Rules and Guidelines
If your story contains profanity/muture themes leave a disclaimer. I will do my best to read each article and rate it using the Television Content Rating System .
Edit. I know that to some (including me) editing is a horrible process but this wiki is to help you improve, and believe me, it is one of the most annoying things when I try to give someone feedback and can barely understand a word in their work.
Fanfiction IS allowed. While this wiki will focus on original stories fanfictions are welcome.
When using poetry please state what style you are using. If you do not know then feel free to contact me, or, better yet, do a quick Google search.
Remember, it is feedback, not 'Your story was rubbish! I didn't like a single bit of it!' This community is for people to show their work and get better. We're here to build people up not push them down. I'm not saying that you must enjoy everything you read because you won't. I admit it, there are some horrible peices of writing out there but instead of just saying you don't like it simply put 'I honestly wasn't interested by your story but I think you could improve by...'.
The source rules are were the rules for pages with outside sources such as publishers, editors, author's ect.
Make sure the source is reliable. When creating a source page make sure that you are atleast 99.99% sure that the source you are linking is what you describe it to be. That being said, do not grant everything as reliable.
Date your page. Please date your page so that users can have an idea of how old the source is and determine whether it is reliable.
Give uplifting feedback not something that will push others down.
Ask permission before editing/changing someone's article. That being said I recommend keeping a copy on your computer somewhere so that if your work is lost/vandalised you don't have to start from scratch.
If making a different page for each chapter make sure you link to the preceding and proceeding chapter.
Only use blog posts for community opinions and things like that.
If writing a fanfiction in the title state what fandom it is.
While these are all important that what matters the most is how we treat others. People are not perfect, no one is, we all make mistakes. Even in this page there WILL be mistakes that I haven't noticed. All I ask is that you are nice and treat others with respect.
